Flattery is a positive force that often helps drive a person to do better or do more, but we must all be careful that we do not allow flattery to drive us to do things we will later regret.
Note: Sometimes, it's not even the fault of the person offering flattering comments, it's just that we take it too much to heart, and later, we may feel used for it - and in those cases it's no one's fault but ours.

Wow, that's such a great analogy! And the subtle fact that the wolf has a forked tongue. Fabulous.
I love the crescent-shaped tail. And of course, you gave this "wolf" the body of a woman, as women seem to be made as the face of flattery. And then you put some more of your signature wrinkled cloth on her.
This is sort of personal, too. I tell myself a lot of bad things, so I'm very susceptible to flattery. I've pretty much end up needing to feed off of what other people say, because I've utterly convinced myself that I'm useless, and won't believe any kind words I tell me.
..heh heh heh, I'm also realizing that I flatter people every time I browse on this site. Yes, I do like to just give people that boost sometimes. Even though I'm never sure if it really gets through.
