Not at all. In fact, she works at a size that is half of what I work in. Thus, her line work is even more detailed and clean than mine.
But otherwise, I wouldn't say the styles are alike. Using thick and thin lines to indicate depth and tone are very common -- it's just that my artwork 'over-uses' it.
And as for the figure... we just happen to like the same thing in our female figures.
