I don't wanna sound queer or nothin', but rats are awesome!

Well, i think it might appear a little less mouse-ish if the ears were all skin tone. None of my rats have enough fur on the back of their ears to make them change colour, aside from the darker pigmented ones, and then that is the skin that turns dark towards the tips, not because of fur..
Pluuuus, white rats normally have pink/red eyes. Yes, there are some black-eyed-whites, but pews are much more common... Making this a dalmatian or capped rat would quickly solve the eye colour issue. But any other fancy rat colouration would too....
Love all the detail in the lines though!

I admit, I'm not so picky when it comes to animal specifics. Though, I swear when I was drawing this, I was studying a live rat at the time -- a tan dumbo rat of some kind -- I forgot the details. It belonged to my ex wife

After the drawing was done however, I confess, the coloration went to the side of whatever worked best for the design.

I am kicking myself for forgetting the red eyes...
Perhaps I'll fix that in a while.
