The only news I'll ever really trust - is the news that has no major financial ties to any corporation or political party running an agenda. At this point - no one fits that profile. And that is a real shame, because there was a time when such news media did exist in America.

I like this picture...a lot. The style, the text, the red, all fit together superbly.

Problem is though that somebody has to finance the trips and the research and the presses and the man hours and the administration. So while the blatant buying of the media is unjustifiable, it is understandable. Until someone comes along with money but no agenda we can't expect there to be media without the influence of an agenda.

Unless we change the paradgym and turn to independant news services who report only on what is being reported and conglomerate 3 or 4 different takes on any given issue. If we buy into that sort of a paradgym we may be able to get away from biased news.

Because at the end of the day the left is just as likely to spin doctor to their end as the right is. Or at the very least, the accusation can be made that a media service linked to a left oriented party will spin doctor with their aims in mind. Once that accusation is made the whole entire credibitlity of the service is shot as badly as that which is shot in the other direction.

Great work, I think that the best news dealing with United States issues is the BBC. What do you think?
:iconpseudo-manitou:
I think every news source should be checked and double checked. Most conclusions must be based on source information - and so the best news sources are those that list where their information comes from. BBC does that many times.
I do what I can...

But I still find myself tripping up sometimes. It's just a very complex world.

I happen to agree completely... plus I love the form/color, so... double-cool.
